TLJ regularly counsels its insurance industry clients regarding a multitude of insurance coverage issues arising out of large-scale commercial construction projects.  Often, such projects proceed from design to completion without serious conflict among the various parties involved in their construction.  Unfortunately, however, this is not always the case. And when disputes erupt between the owners of such projects and the contractors hired to construct them, there are often many complex issues that must be addressed related to both liability in the underlying dispute and potential insurance coverage for the claims being made.  TLJ’s lawyers have the experience necessary to analyze these multifaceted issues and help clients reach informed and accurate decisions on how best to address them. TLJ also counsels its clients, including both insurance carriers and real estate developers, concerning issues arising under Owner Controlled Insurance Programs, or OCIPs, including the interrelationship between the various policies issued as part of such programs.
