Uzoma Nkwonta joined Loss, Judge & Ward in 2014 and has experience litigating a wide array of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Before joining the firm, Uzoma spent several years in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm where he represented corporations and insurance carriers in consumer fraud class actions, insurance coverage disputes, and regulatory proceedings. Before entering private practice, Uzoma served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ann Claire Williams, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Uzoma also has devoted a significant portion of his practice to representing non-profit organizations committed to protecting the right to vote. In this role, Uzoma has represented individuals and organizations in litigation involving the federal Voting Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act.
