Jason Reichlyn concentrates his practice on complex insurance coverage counseling and litigation involving property, general liability, and professional liability claims.  He routinely advises primary and excess insurers on claim investigations and valuations, coverage analyses, common law and statutory bad faith claims, and claims presenting substantial extra-contractual exposure.  His litigation experience includes significant written discovery, including voluminous e-discovery; depositions; and motion practice through trial and appeal.

Prior to joining LJW, Jason was an associate in the Washington, DC office of a global law firm where he practiced in the firm's Insurance sector.  While there, he advised and represented insurers in coverage and bad faith disputes across the construction, energy, engineering, environmental, intellectual property, legal, and medical sectors, as well as in related litigation before state and federal courts nationwide.

Jason has been named a "Rising Star" in Insurance Coverage by Super Lawyers for 2016 (Maryland) and 2017-2018 (Washington, DC).
