Jeffrey Ward has been representing liability insurers as coverage counsel since he began practicing law in 1997.  Before joining Thompson, Loss & Judge, LLP in August 2005, he was of counsel with Ross, Dixon & Bell, LLP.  Mr. Ward’s practice focuses primarily on counseling and litigation related to insurance coverage disputes, particularly matters related to D&O and other professional liability insurance, including E&O claims against attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers.  In addition to his work as coverage counsel, Mr. Ward has defended malpractice claims against professionals, such as attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers.  Mr. Ward also has handled litigation involving other subjects, including antitrust, consumer protection, intellectual property, international law, and telecommunications. Mr. Ward has litigated cases in federal and state trial courts in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia.  He  also has handled appeals before the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Third, Fourth, Ninth, Eleventh and District of Columbia Circuits; as well as the state appellate courts of Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
