Matthew Dendinger is a partner with Loss, Judge & Ward, LLP. Since joining the firm in 2005, a substantial part of his multifaceted practice has been counseling LJW's insurance industry clients on complex coverage issues arising from directors & officers and commercial general liability insurance policies, as well as representing those clients in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation throughout the country. In recent years, Mr. Dendinger has been heavily involved in insurance coverage matters arising from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's pursuit of claims against former directors & officers of community banks taken over by the FDIC during the financial crisis.
In addition to his insurance coverage and bad faith practice, Mr. Dendinger has experience representing insurance brokers accused of wrongdoing with respect to their clients’ insurance coverage, as well as businesses, both large and small, in general commercial litigation. Prior to joining LJW, Mr. Dendinger was an associate in the highly regarded litigation department of a large Chicago law firm.
During his career, Mr. Dendinger’s litigation experience has extended to both the trial and appellate level of state and federal courts throughout the country, and, in particular, he has been actively involved in the prosecution and defense of appellate matters in the United States Courts of Appeals in multiple circuits.
